Chapter 9: Living Devotional Sex

Making a commitment

Living Devotional Sex requires a couple to commit to each other that they will fulfill their role for the period of the commitment, and this commitment to be for long enough for Devotional Sex to start to feel a normal part of the couple's life.

The first time you make this commitment feels very much like starting an exciting adventure with your partner!

There are two symbols of living Devotional Sex - the Devotee Ring, and the private symbol of being a Knight.

The best time to start one or both of these is when you both make one of the following commitments.

Committing within a relationship

A couple who decides to explore Devotional Sex together might start off with some games, then having an occasional  weekend of Devotional Sex, and then even a few big weeks (9 days) of Devotional Sex. These are all examples of visiting Devotional Sex, as both know that very soon things will go back to the way they were before.

The shortest time which would give a real feel for living Devotional Sex would be to commit for one month. Once a couple are both wanting to live Devotional Sex, the commitment can be for a whole year. (More)

Committing when single

Those not in a relationship can commit to themselves that in the future when they date or enjoy some activities with a friend, they will practice Devotional Sex. (More)

A date committing to practice with you

If you introduce a date to Devotional Sex, what happens during your first dates will depend on how much your date is willing to go along with you. The first commitment you need from you date is that things do not go further than you wish.

Once you have dated a few times your date will have a good idea of what Devotional Dating involves. They may then be willing to commit to become your Princess or your Knight. (More)

The big change from Devotional Dating to a Devotional Relationship

There are many significant steps when forming a new relationship - the first date, starting to go steady, moving in together, marriage, etc.

If you practice Devotional Sex during your dating, a very significant new step is added - the change from Devotional Dating to a Devotional Relationship.

This is the time when a Knight commits to belong to his Princess, and she commits to being a good Princess who cares about her Knight.

And this emotional commitment is reinforced by a very powerful change in sexual behavior - the Knight goes from never ejaculating when with his Princess to only ever ejaculating when his Princess allows.
With this powerful change he really does become hers. (More)

A friend committing to practice with you

If you enjoy some activities with a friend and want to do this as Devotional Friends, your practice of Devotional Sex properly starts when your friend also commits to being your Princess or your Knight. (More)
