Living as a Supplicant Knight
Some
women will never want to accept the role of being a Princess, and so
some men may never get any further than being a Supplicant Knight. Even
so, they may gain satisfaction from living as a Supplicant Knight.
When a man is with a partner who never becomes willing to become his Princess, he will never get to enjoy full Devotional Sex. But both he (and his partner!) are able to enjoy some of the benefits and joys of Devotional Sex as long as he continues to be a Supplicant Knight.
Hence some men may decide to continue to be a Supplicant Knight even when they know that things will never go any further.
