1: Introduction

New words for talking about sex

Why `Desire´ was chosen

Desire (for penis) works particularly well within Devotional Sex. A hard Desire is the manifestation of a Knight's sexual arousal (ie desire!).

Talking about his Desire works very well when describing sexual activity:

As he watched her undress, his Desire grew hard. As they cuddled she felt his hard Desire against her leg. She reached down and played with his Desire. "Would you like a Desire Kiss?" she teasingly asked.

With Devotional Sex there will be many times when a couple are in bed together with the Knight aroused but no sexual activity taking place. This might be because the Princess wants to enjoy just a cuddle without any sexual activity, or it might be because some sexual activity has just finished. In both situations the Knight desires his Princess, and his hard Desire proves this. But the Knight accepts that no (more) sexual activity will take place - he has desire but accepts that this will only be satisfied another time.

Devotional Sex is all about a Knight having desire for his Princess. Of course a hard Desire is most enjoyed during sexual activity. But the quiet cuddle times when he feels desire, and has a hard Desire, are one of the things that makes Devotional Sex feel special.

Note that the word desire can still be used with its normal meaning.

'He felt a strong desire for her to touch his hard Desire' might sound strange, but it is clear that the first time desire is used it is the emotion, and the second time it is used it means his penis.
