New words for talking about sex
Why `Climax´ was chosen
Why `Climax´ was chosen
Climax (for
an orgasm with loss of sexual energy - orgasm with ejaculation for the
male) is an appropriate word because it captures both the peak of
excitement, and the fact that it is also the end of activity.
There are two types of male orgasm - the well known orgasm with ejaculation, and the little known orgasm without ejaculation. As these are very different, I wanted to have a word for each.
Climax is a good word for an orgasm which is the peak of pleasure, and after which sexual desire is satisfied. Of course this is what happens when a male orgasms and ejaculates at the same time.
