Changing the rules during a party
The default rules already allow a host to stop an activity during a party even if that activity is allowed within the rules.
Changing the rules during a party to allow another activity, or to make something compulsory, can be done if everyone agrees. When a party is just three people or two couples, negotiating a change might be very easy.
But if a party is over five people, care needs to be taken that no-one feels group pressure to accept changes that they would rather not accept.
