Two
couples could get together as Devotional Friends. In this case each
Princesses would have Princess Power over both Knights. This dynamic
would be most fun when each Princess enjoyed some activities with the
borrowed Knight.
Note that the limits may have been set so that one couple is allowed to go much further than the other. And even if the limits for everyone are the same, it would be an interesting dynamic if one couple went much further than the other.

The difference between two couples being Devotional Friends together and Knight Swapping is that as Devotional Friends everything that happens is with everyone together in the same room. With Knight Swapping each Princess takes her borrowed Knight away to enjoy without his ordinary Princess being present.
