When the Knight is single

Knight who is single can decide to keep his pubic hair clean-shaven to
symbolize his commitment to practicing Devotional Sex with any future
dates or during any intimate activities with a friend.
This represents the same commitments as a single Knight deciding to wear a Devotee Ring, and these commitments are presented in Chapter 1 here.
The commitments not only include how he will act during his next intimacy, but a commitment to learn and practice self-imposed ejaculation denial, the calming exercises, and eventually to become multi-orgasmic.
Being shaved makes the first Reveal even more memorable, and shows the new Princess that he really is a Knight.
Devotional Sex encourages couples to enjoy and explore the very first stages of intimacy instead of rushing into sexual activity.
When a Knight introduces a woman to Devotional Sex, the first step towards enjoying some real Devotional Sex is to create a feeling that the new Princess really does have Princess Power.
She needs to not only know, but to feel, that she really can make things happen, and, even more importantly, be sure that things will not progress further than she wishes. And her new Knight needs to feel that she really has this power.
One of the best ways of doing this is to spend some time with one person partially undressed or naked, while the other remains fully dressed. Of course the new Princess decides who does the undressing, and how far this goes.
Most often the new Princess will decide that it is her Knight who will undress. Usually she has her Knight leave his underpants on for a while before going any further.
This gives her Knight a chance to tell her that she only need say "Reveal" and he will reveal all.
He can also tell her that if, for example, he is giving her a foot massage, that after she says "Reveal" and he does so, she can have him sit back down immediately and continue the foot massage. Or if she says "Display" he will stand in front of her an display his erection for her viewing pleasure. Then, when she has seen enough, she can have him sit back down and continue the foot massage.
This is the way I've introduced all my dates and female friends to Devotional Sex. I've found that many woman are happy to give this a go, and they have all enjoyed the experience.

A Knight having his public hair clean-shaven makes the first Reveal even more special. It makes a naked Knight look more naked, and it gives the new Princess a very good view of his Desire and of his arousal.
Shaving your pubic hair as you prepare for a date puts a Knight in the mood to be a Knight if things progress that far. And if they do, they give your new Princess a very nice visual treat.
Thus I recommend that any man who is series about introducing a date or a friend to Devotional Sex shave his pubic hair beforehand.
